The platform evaluates structural characteristics across five distinct visual signals: overall facial harmony, bilateral symmetry, jawline definition, skin appearance under current lighting, and eye/brow framing. In addition to determining primary face shapes and offering tailored hairstyle direction, iLook provides a standalone Golden Ratio (phi ≈ 1.618) proportion score. This mathematical reference is reported separately, keeping proportion context clear without falsely equating geometry with universal beauty.
What sets iLook apart is its developer-first architecture and stringent privacy guardrails. AI agents and workflows can consume versioned, structured JSON via REST APIs, OpenAPI specs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) endpoints. The platform strictly prohibits biometric identification, surveillance, facial recognition, and demographic or sensitive-trait inferences. Photos are processed transiently and kept within private user history.
