About NoteFree

A phone-first recorder aimed at conversations that happen in a room rather than on a call. The pitch is one-step capture: hit record, keep using other apps, and have the recording survive an unstable network. Speech recognition produces a transcript, then a cleanup pass strips filler words, fixes errors, adds punctuation and splits the text by topic. Output is a note with a title, summary, decisions, open questions and follow-up actions, with the original audio and timestamps kept alongside so any line can be checked against what was actually said.

The team names students, interviewers, founders and consultants as target users, and lists consent, recording indicators and local recording law as requirements rather than afterthoughts.

Nothing is available yet and the product is in prelaunch validation behind a waitlist, and every capability described here is planned rather than shipped.
