About Court Rules

Court Rules provides structured legal data through a REST API and MCP server for developers building legal platforms, compliance products, document workflows, and AI assistants. Its datasets cover judge-specific filing rules, court information, holidays, deadlines, and privacy enforcement actions.

The API can return page limits, formatting requirements, courtesy-copy rules, pre-motion procedures, chambers preferences, and electronic filing constraints. A compliance endpoint accepts PDF filings, classifies the document, counts pages and words, and reports pass, fail, or action-required results against applicable rules.

Privacy enforcement records include entities, fine amounts, violation types, laws cited, remedies, risk levels, and contract search terms. Developers can filter records by jurisdiction, date, industry, violation type, or risk level and use them to create regulatory feeds, alerts, contract checks, or legal matters.

A free Developer plan provides full API access with a limit of 10 requests per minute. Startup and Scale plans use custom pricing, while Scale adds unlimited requests, audit logs, a custom SLA, and an on-premise deployment option. MCP clients include Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Codex.
