About HackMyIP
HackMyIP is a browser-based toolkit for inspecting IP addresses, domains, network connections, privacy signals, and common developer data formats. Its tools include IP lookup, DNS lookup, speed testing, password generation, port scanning, security headers, email authentication, and more.
The developer section includes Base64, JSON, hash, URL encoding, JWT decoding, epoch conversion, UUID, QR code, bulk lookup, email headers, IP conversion, IPv6, and MAC utilities. Network tools cover ASN lookup, reverse DNS, traceroute, subnet calculations, and CIDR operations.
HackMyIP also provides a public API for IP geolocation, DNS records, WHOIS and RDAP data, HTTP headers, email breach checks, privacy scoring, reverse DNS, blacklist checks, website status, and bulk IP lookup. The API returns JSON, supports CORS, and does not require authentication.
The API is free for personal and commercial use, with no signup or API key required. The service states that its API runs on Cloudflare’s global edge network and provides an official JavaScript package, GitHub repository, command-line examples, and API documentation.

FAQ
What is my IP address?
Your IP address is the unique number assigned to your device by your internet service provider (ISP). It identifies you on the internet and reveals your approximate location.
Is my IP address exposed?
Yes, every website you visit can see your public IP address. If you want to hide your IP, use a VPN service to mask your real address.
What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6?
IPv4 addresses look like 192.168.1.1, while IPv6 addresses are longer, like 2001:db8::1. IPv6 was created because IPv4 addresses are running out.
How many IPs can be checked in one bulk request?
The bulk endpoint accepts up to 50 IP addresses in a single POST request.
Can the API be called from browser JavaScript?
Yes. The API sends permissive CORS headers, allowing requests from browser-based applications and other domains.
