TwitterXAPI
A read-only API and MCP server for retrieving public X profiles, posts, conversations, networks, trends, and communities.
About TwitterXAPI
TwitterXAPI gives developers programmatic access to public X data through REST endpoints and a remote MCP server. It covers profiles, timelines, posts, replies, conversation threads, followers, following, Lists, trends, communities, and public search results.
REST responses are available as Raw, Moderate, or Contentful JSON. Moderate normalizes fields, while Contentful produces smaller text-focused records for AI workflows. Collection endpoints return one page at a time with cursors for retrieving subsequent pages.
Large account histories and searches can run as queued jobs. Completed jobs produce downloadable compressed NDJSON files, with charges based on the records delivered. Python, JavaScript, and cURL examples are provided for authenticated requests and pagination.
Usage is funded with prepaid credits and has no required monthly fee. Network records cost $0.01 per 1,000, posts and activity cost $0.10 per 1,000, searches cost $0.20 per 1,000, and individual lookups cost $0.001. A $19.99 monthly plan includes $25 in recurring API credit.
